What materials will the fender flares be available in?
Carbon fiber or fiberglass.

Approximately how wide are the fender flares?
Each fender flares out approximately 2 inches (50 mm). Thus,
your MR2 will be approximately 4 inches wider than stock (2 inches
on each side).

Are the fender flares compatible with my current
setup?
Probably, but it depends on your setup.
Unlike other fender flares that force you to purchase compatible
front bumpers, side skirts, rear bumpers, and/or trunk lids, our
fender flares are designed to accommodate many different setups
without you paying more money to purchase compatible parts.
The flare of the fender flare is limited to the fender area and
smoothly transitions into other body pieces. This means you
can, for example, use the fender flares with setups ranging from the
OEM front bumper (with various front lips) to aftermarket non-wide
body front bumpers (e.g., the Border-racing front bumper).

How should the
fender flares be installed?
The front fenders with the integrated vent and fender flares are
a bolt-on replacement for the OEM front fenders. You should
consult with your body shop to decide how you would like to install
the rear add-on fender flares. Depending on your preferences,
the body shop may recommend molding or
riveting the rear fender flares to your car.

vent?
Yes.

Were
the fender flares designed to be functional?
Yes. The fender flares
will give you more fender space to fit a wider set of wheels which will allow
you to fit a wider set of tires on your MR2. Wider tires can
increase grip, which will improve your acceleration, handling, and
braking. In addition, the front fender vent will vent air that
previously would build up in the wheel well causing lift.
Moreover, the shape of the flares themselves are designed to be
aerodynamically efficient. Furthermore, the fender flares are
made out of lightweight but strong composite materials to keep your
setup as lightweight as possible.

Will the fender flares allow me to go with a
deeper dish on my wheels?
Yes. The fender flares will give
you more fender space to fit a wider set of wheels and different
offsets, which can increase the width of the wheel's lip giving you
that "deep dish" look.
• What width wheels and offset
should I get?
This depends on your
setup - the wheels you are going with and whether you have
aftermarket brakes are just two variables that will affect the
recommended width of the wheel and its offset. Here are some

You should
contact the retailer/manufacturer that you plan on purchasing your
wheels or spacers from and ask them. Do not forget to inform
them that the fender flares flare out at its maximum point approximately
2 inches (50 mm).
